Spicy & Crispy Fried Okhras

Spicy and crispy fried Okhras (Ladies finger)spicy and crispy fried okhras

 

This is a very tasty and easy to make side dish as an accompaniment to rice.

 

Ingredients

 

Ladies finger-250gms

Red chilly powder -1 tsp (can vary with spice level required)

Salt-To taste

Hing(asafoetida) powder- ¼ tsp

Rice flour – 11/2 table spoon

Oil- For deep frying

 

Method of preparation

 

Wash the Okhras (ladies finger) and let it drain.

Slice them into small pieces.

Add salt, redchilly powder, hing powder and rice flour to the chopped okhras and mix well so that the rice powder and masalas get coated evenly.

Allow this mixture to rest for around 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the masala coated okhras.

The Spicy, crunchy and crispy Okhras are ready to be served!
