Mutton Pepper fry is a very popular dish in south India. A must try dish and highly recommended by Foodsavory.


Mutton liver – 1/2 kgs
ginger paste  – 1 tsp
garlic paste  -  1 tsp
chilli powder  -  1 tsp
dhanya  Powder (Coriander) –  1 tsp
turmeric  Powder –  ½ tsp
Onion  -  2 medium
tomato  - 2 medium
pepper powder  -  2/3 tsp
green chillies  -  3 nos. (Each slit into 2 pieces)
garam masala – 1 tsp
curry leaves

Coriander leaves – Enough online casino to garnish the mutton liver dish

Salt to taste.

Method of Preparation

Heat oil in a pan.

Add curry leaves, ginger & garlic paste and after it turns golden brown, add chilli powder, dhanya powder (coriander Powder) & turmeric powder and saute for about 1/2 min.

Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies (each slit into 2 pieces), pepper powder, curry leaves, & salt to taste.

Now add mutton liver. Cook for 1/2 an hour and transfer the content into a serving dish and garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with rice, roti, palappam, vattayappam, vellayappam, noolappam etc.


  • Do not pressure cook the liver or cook for a long time so that the liver will become hard
