Shrikhand is a very popular Indian sweet dish which is made out of hung curds (strained yoghurt). This is a main dessert served as a part of Gujarati/Maharashtrian thalis (meals). It doesn’t take much time to prepare this dish if u have the hung curds ready.
In Maharashtra shrikhand is usually served along with mango pulp (Amarkhand). In Guajarati cuisine sometimes shrikhand is served as a side dish for pooris.
